We know that the world of Artificial Intelligence is developing at a rapid pace and that the world of qualifications is not keeping pace with those developments.
At SAIGE our ambition is to provide colleges, schools, universities, employers and training providers with a clear set of qualifications and progression pathways in AI, and its associated fields
We can help you navigate the emerging new ways of working with AI, providing you with clarity so that you, in turn, can advise your learners with the information they need to find their way in this new world.
We provide both technical and non-technical qualifications which cater for both creators of AI products and services and also those individuals who require a broader knowledge of AI and how it impacts on their role, industry and society.

The content of our qualifications will be created by academic and industry experts – specialists in their fields – so that we both ensure the intellectual integrity of those qualifications, and we also continuously develop their contemporaneity, making them constantly fit-for-purpose, in what is an ever-changing sector.
Some examples of the subject areas we cover, include:
- Human-centred approaches to developing AI products and services
- Developing AI Applications
- Developing an AI strategy
- Data Science
- Industries (various pathways e.g., Retail, Financial Service, Engineering)
- Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare
- Artificial Intelligence for Government
- Artificial Intelligence in Systems Architecture
- Artificial Intelligence in Learning and Development
- AI and managing unexpected outcomes; economic, societal, physical and human impact
- Recognising and eliminating bias in AI developments
The qualifications we develop are underpinned by a number of principles.
They:
- are purposeful, structured, with clear aims and learning outcomes
- ensure ethics in AI, and more generally, underpinning the learning activities
- provide assessments which are practical, allowing learners to apply learning to real issues
- allow tailored learning, bespoke to the learner’s context
- support the development of technical skills application
- support the development of a broad range of skills beyond the technical elements
- utilise innovative technology to engage and enhance the learner and client experience,
- support the widening of access to technology related industries
- are based upon current and projected business needs, reflecting the rapid growth of AI and increasingly expedient market development – ensuring qualifications reflect existing and predicted skills needs
- are kept under review to ensure they remain fit for purpose in taking into account developing and changing technology and business needs
- support progression to a higher-level qualification or lead to opportunities for employment
- are widely accepted by employers and HEI’s
- use technology to improve the validity, reliability, comparability, bias and manageability of assessment
- comply with regulator conditions
When developing our qualifications we ensure that we meet the needs of both our learners and also our delivery centres where the qualifications are accessed. We also ensure that our qualifications support national and international strategic developments, in both skills development and technological advancement.
